My love of making art started when I was a young child. I can't recall a time when I wasn't drawing, painting or creating something. Having been raised in a very creative family I learned how to find joy and beauty in the world around me. Inspiration for my work can come from something as simple as a rock. I work in a variety of media that include watercolor, colored pencil, paper mache and wood. Born and raised in the Midwest, I live with my artist husband in the beautiful state of Iowa.
